Marpipe’s Dan Pantelo named part of Forbes 30 Under 30 class of 2022

Our CEO and founder joins a prestigious list of fellow entrepreneurs

Our very own Dan Pantelo, founder and CEO of Marpipe, has been named part of Forbes 30 Under 30 class of 2022 in Marketing and Advertising. It surely goes without saying, but this is an incredible accomplishment. Dan’s peers and colleagues nominated him for this honor. And he was chosen from a pool that, in the past, has been as large as 15,000 nominees. He’s in great company — Forbes 30 Under 30 Alumni include other notable tech founders, such as Bumble’s Whitney Wolfe Herd and Spotify’s Daniel Ek.

To celebrate his accomplishment, we put together a list of tech-related experiences from the days of yore that Dan himself has never known (you know, being under 30 and all). 

  • Carrying a Discman (with no-skip technology!) everywhere
  • Gently blowing into 8-bit video game cartridges to get a day’s worth of euphoric enjoyment with Zelda
  • Enduring the screeching tones of dial-up and the “Welcome” greeting from a creepy, computer version of Steve Case
  • Having to wait until Thursday night to watch TV’s number one new show (binging had a different definition back then)
  • Calling in to your favorite local radio station to win a sweet, sweet prize pack
  • Using the card catalog to find the latest “Choose Your Own Adventure” book at the library
  • Learning cursive on a chalkboard and math on an overhead projector
  • Pressing a key on your flip phone three times so you could type a “C” in your text (hand-eye coordination was really strong back then)
  • Driving to an 8-hour-long focus group to see which ad creative to run and getting the final results 4–8 weeks later

In all seriousness, Dan is a visionary and a leader in every sense of the word. He inspires the Marpipe team and sets the tone for equal parts hard work and good, clean fun. At a recent all-company town hall meeting, he shared a customer quote that proclaimed Marpipe was today’s must-have tool for marketers. He paused, looked up at our full team, and said “You built that; you’re the reason for our success.” Great things are built when the right person is at the helm. We can’t wait to see where Dan steers this ship in 2022 and beyond.
